London is (Over) A Year Old!

London's First Birthday

London, if this blog is still up whenever you are old enough to read, I’m very sorry for not continuing your monthly blog updates. However, you need to know that you and your brother consumed every waking moment of my life when I was at home, so that’s why they are missing.

There have also been a few other life changes in the past couple of months. And holidays.

London Christmas Elf

Anyway, yeah. London is a year old! Her birthday was on October 30th, and in three days, she will be 14 months old. The last time I wrote a monthly update about her, she was only 10 months old.

Now, I will go re-read that post, so it’s easier for me to remember how much she’s changed since then.

London can totally walk now. She was walking around 11 months. London Sitting On Chair

She also climbs on everything, including but not limited to: the couch, the chairs, Liam’s bed, her food truck, out of her crib… almost. Actually, I’m pretty sure she could climb out of her crib if I wasn’t there to stop her.

London With Baby Bottle

London is a very good eater. So far, I don’t think she’s ever refused a bite of food in her life. Her favorite thing is squeezable cinnamon applesauce pouches. She also likes squeezable yogurt pouches. Liam also loves them, so we go through about 8 of them per day.

London Christmas Tree

I know when she was 10 months old, I said she was saying a few words. “Stop” was one of them. Now, I’m fully convinced that she’s a genius.

She can count to three and says “what’s that” to everything. Apart from that, she tries to sing songs like the ABC’s and Rock-a-bye Baby.

I’m pretty sure she has anger problems. If Liam takes anything away from her (which he does all the time), she loses her mind. She will scream at the top of her lungs. Also, check out this video of her refusing to give up one of her delicious yogurt pouches.

Girly Pastel Halloween Birthday Party Theme

We had a birthday party for her at our house on October 27th. It was originally supposed to be on October 26th, but that is a whole story in itself.

Since her birthday is the day before Halloween, we made it Halloween themed. I made it like a “pastel, girly Halloween” theme, though.

Liam and London Halloween Costumes

London was Tinker Bell. Liam was Chase from Paw Patrol. I was a Slytherin witch. Cameron was Lieutenant Dangle.

I would include a picture of Cameron’s costume, but he will have to approve it first. For now, you can look at this.

New Boot Goofin

And I will leave you with that.

Your girl is adorable, and I love her name. My boys are 8 months, crawling and pulling up on everything. One of the twins stood for like a whole minute the other day, and I almost had a complete breakdown. It’s crazy seeing them grow. And I TOTALLY get how hard it is to keep up with the monthly updates. You’re doing a fabulous job!

Thank you!! I can’t even imagine having twins. I have a hard enough time dealing with these two that are a year and a half apart! Haha.
